The Process

The matching of confirmations via XML documents is based on the principle that two business partners both produce one confirmation 1 and exchange it. enerbility is administering address information for all counterparties that exchange electronic documents. enerbility derives the recipient from the XML document and forwards the document to this party .

                                                                    Process scheme

The buyer compares the XML 4 documents and transfers a Match Suggestion to the seller in case of matching documents 5. The seller also checks if the documents are matching and sends a Match Acceptance 6 where applicable. After successful transfer, the transaction is successfully matched & confirmed for both counterparties and the status in the ETRM can be updated accordingly .

Range of Transactions

enerbility supports the standards EFET 1.0 and EFET 3.x, with which fix priced and index deals as well as options on all power- and gas products can be matched & confirmed.

Usability

enerbility is operated via a browser-based interface, which has been designed in close co-operation with Back Office staff from the project partners. Different, task-related views and simple parametric queries enable comfortable and efficient handling of the system:
