Platform Independence of enerbility Software Products

enerbility is a pure Java-application based on Java Standard Edition 1.4. and is tested on and available with all major Windows- and UNIX platforms. Data keeping is effected database-independent via JDBC. Oracle 9.x and 10.x is currently tested and released for production, other databases can be used and tested on demand.

Interface Philosophy

enerbility is programming interfaces for relevant IT-services in energy trading based on the following principles:

• The interface must enable clear separation of responsibilities of different IT-systems suppliers
• The interface has to be easy to maintain
• The interface has to be scaleable – eg for newly traded commodities

EFET-Certification of enerbility Software

Enerbility is testing its conformity to current EFET standards internally as well as with other market participants’ products – this guarantees the highest degree of convenience possible for the customer using the software. enerbility proper was officially certified in the course of e-world 2007 in Essen and has time and again proven guaranteed interoperability with existing competitors’ products.

Certification of Used ebXML Products

The ebXML adapter, Hermes 1.0, has been certified by the Center for E-Commerce Infrastructure Development (CECID) at the university of Hong Kong and has been licenced by the ebXML Asia Committee.
